Introducing The Outfit Speaks

I want to share with you my thought process behind “The Outfit Speaks.” They say fashion is a language and I couldn’t agree more.

Blossoming of a conversation
During the search for my blog name, a thought that sprung to mind through personal experience is how an outfit, an item of clothing or shoes you’re wearing can express into an instant conversation. From “I love your jacket” to “Where’s it from?” leading to a conversation about favourite clothes and shoe stores to favourite places in the world…
You know what I mean?!
I just love how a conversation blossoms.

Lover of style that speaks for itself
Another thought that came to mind through my search is how the outfits I choose are dependant on what I’m doing for the day or evening. A dose of character and a hint of feels for the day/evening through what I wear is what I aim for. For instance, if I’m going for an interview, my outfit plan would centre around representing confidence and significance so that my nerves become irrelevant.

So having always been a lover of style that speaks for itself, “The Outfit Speaks” is the perfect platform to share my outfits with you as well as the thoughts behind the outfits itself. My style genres include Casual, Formal, South Asian and Travel.
