The thought of expectations can sometimes lead to a feel of doubt about where we are in life but it can often be forgotten that these are just thoughts. There isn’t an expected time that chapters in our lives should happen, they happen when they’re supposed to.
Weeks, months, years; you won’t question the time it took you to reach where you want to be because that simply doesn’t matter. What matters is YOU. What matters is the happiness you feel when you look back on how far you have come, how much you have achieved and how much you have learnt in the process of your journey.
Dress: Little Mistress
Little Mistress has been my go to for formal wear through the summer season and the bardot neck style, midi length dresses has been a favourite of mine lately. The flower detail lining each side of the bodycon dress blossomed in just the right places and you can already imagine how the velvet felt, silky smooth and yes, so comfortable! A gorgeous colour too with glows of white peaking through the purple.
Jacket: Stradivarius
As the end of summer was approaching, the day was chilly so I styled the dress with a jacket; this black leather one worked well!
